Without the generous support of our family of partners, we would not be able to put a team on the court, as simple as that. 


We have enjoyed long term support from a large number of local businesses, something we are both proud of and extremely grateful for.  These businesses not only help us turn the Trafalgar Centre lights on throughout the season, with financial or in-kind support, but they are also amazing cheerleaders for us in the community - thank you. 

Principal Partner

2023 sees us become known as the NBS Nelson Giants, with Nelson Building Society joining as our principal partner for the next 3 years.  

NBS has been a long time supporter of the Giants, having previously been our naming rights partner back in 2005 and 2006. 

We are rapt to have such an iconic and community focussed organisation as our principal partner in 2023 and beyond - thanks to the team at NBS for your support.

By supporting the NBS Nelson Giants, our partners will:

  • Be seen to be supporting an iconic regional brand which has a renewed focus on developing local talent.

  • Help deliver entertainment for our region and provide something positive for new and existing fans to get behind following the disruption of Covid-19.

  • Be associated with the community basketball programmes the Nelson Giants deliver.

We acknowledge that Covid-19 and ensuing economic challenges have (and continue to) impacted many businesses, including our own, making new expenditure a difficult decision.  However, we believe a partnership with the NBS Nelson Giants is an investment in our community that will be recognised and rewarded by your customers and our fans.
